Aims

  • Explore the set protocols, processes for decontamination of dental instruments and surgery preparation.
  • Review the principles of waste management in relation to handling, storage and audit systems for the dental team
  • Provide further awareness of CQC requirements and best methods of implementing these
  • Identify the methods of best practice following HTM - 0105 for decontamination processes
  • State the methods of waste management in regards to set regulations and protocols

Objectives     Manage the specific requirements of the CQC, providing the awareness on the processes expected from the Dental Team
