- To provide participants with the appropriate information to help facilitate the early diagnosis of oral cancer
- Be aware of the latest oral cancer demographics
- Have an understanding of the aetiological risk factors for oral malignancy
Objectives
- Be reminded of the nature of oral premalignancy
- Be able to identify those clinical features of soft tissue lesions that arouse suspicion
- Be reminded of how best to refer patients with suspicious lesions

- Be aware of all the processes of pre-cleaning instruments and their advantages and disadvantages
